On my journey to make a difference through creativity and marketing acumen, I proudly contributed my skills to the Friends of Killbear, a cherished non-profit dedicated to enhancing park experiences and conservation efforts. As a volunteer graphic designer and marketer, I embarked on a mission to rejuvenate their branding, infusing it with a modern aesthetic that resonates with today’s park visitors and supporters.

At the heart of my volunteer work was the ambitious goal to elevate the organization's visual storytelling. I meticulously curated graphic designs and posters, strategically placed throughout the park, to capture the essence of Killbear's natural beauty and the spirit of its community. My designs served not only as beacons of information but also as invitations for visitors to engage more deeply with the park's offerings and initiatives.

A cornerstone of my efforts was spearheading a promotional campaign that was as innovative as it was inspiring. The campaign was designed to spotlight the 'Twin Points Trail: Barrier-Free Access and Viewing Deck' project, an initiative close to our hearts aimed at making the park's stunning vistas accessible to all. Through compelling visuals and targeted messaging, the campaign galvanized park visitors, encouraging them to contribute to a cause that promised to enhance accessibility and enjoyment for everyone.

The impact of this campaign was felt deeply. Not only did it significantly boost donations for the Twin Points Trail project, but it also set a new standard for how the Friends of Killbear communicate their mission and mobilize support. My time with the Friends of Killbear was a testament to the power of design and marketing to spark positive change and bring a community together for a common cause.
